Old Time Replica is an event sponsored by the Society of Antique Modlers (SAM) for models designed prior to Dec. 31, 1942, that have been scaled down to less than 36†for .020 power. These are truly models-of-models. The Flying Aces Club spnsors an event call Old Time Gas “electric†. Only difference between the SAM and FAC event is the power requirement. SAM useds .020 gas and FAC uses electric. BMJR kits are designed to fly in either SAM or FAC events .
