The Gollywock was originally designed in 1940 by Wally Simmers as a Class “C” Stick model, and became a kit produced by Midwest Model Supply Company. Model also appeared in Air Trails magazine in 1941. Model had a 31 3/4” span with 135 sq. in. of area, with a 12” prop. A Gollywock II was released in 1991; the difference being a slightly larger fuselage nose cross section and simplified wing and tail construction.The Half Gollywock is a 1/2 size version, developed with Stew Meyers for Flying Aces Club competition in 2017. Model has a 15” span and 36 q. in area. Our final ready to fly weight, without motor is 18 grams. All up with motor is 22 grams. Instructions include details for Stew Meyers pop-up D/T.
