In 2011 the rubber flyers at Palm Bay were looking for a new P-30 design. This led Dave Platt to look back into his files for a model he had designed in 1986; the Dragonfly-P-30. The design is of classic stick and tissue construction reminiscent of old time rubber powered free flight models, with excellent and predictable flight characteristics, typical of a Dave Platt design. Model has a 30″span and wing area of 134 sq. in.  Using a GARD 7% airfoil, with classic vintage Charme it is pleasing to watch fly; and very capable of a MAX.
