The BRFF-<em>Park Flyer </em>is based on Bud Romak’s 1959 1/2A Free Flight which originally had a 68 1/2″ span with 275 sq. in of area. Powered by a Thermal Hopper .049. Bud sent me a copy of a plan drawn by Bill Dean which was used to scale the model to 36″ span with 118 sq. in. area. Perfect for 1/4A or E-36 FF. After experience trimming the 1/4A and E-36 FF models we had to go the next step; an electric RC Park Flyer. The BRFF–PF prototype pretty much flew right off the board. Recommended power is a 22mm brushless motor.
