NFFS 2018 one-design for early 1/2A along with STREAK, B-130
History of the SMARTY has been scarce. We know from the original plan, the model was designed by Harold Bunting and was produced as a kit by Southland Models, in Greensboro, NC. in 1951. The SMARTY has a 30″ span with 150 sq. in. area. Flying weight with an .049 just under 5 oz. Although the model is intended to be flown as an early 1/2 for NFFS 2018 one-design event. With a 30″ span and a .020 model could also be flown in 1/4A or PeeWee30.
