The original TEOSAWKI was designed by Clayton Smith around 2005 with a 53″ span. It was reported that Clayton, an avid combat flyer, had a dislike of the fancy, super finished, complicated stunt models; so he set out to create a rugged, simple to build, model capable of a 500+ flight score without appearance points. The name TEOSAWKI is actually an acronym for;“<strong>T</strong>he <strong>E</strong>nd <strong>O</strong>f <strong>S</strong>tunt <strong>A</strong>s <strong>W</strong>e’ve <strong>K</strong>nown <strong>I</strong>t”

When it was announced that 1/2A Stunt was to be flown at the 23rd Brodak Fly-in, the TEOSAWKI was recommended by Will Davis as a candidate. BMJR built a series of 3 prototypes before finalizing the design. The BMJR TEOSAWKI has a 31″ span with 208 sq. in of area; and a final flying weight of 8 1/4 oz. It is defiantly capable of the entire AMA pattern on 50’ lines.
