The original 13″ span Dipper free flight rubber parasol model was a kit by Comet in 1932. The ad stated it would fly 900ft. The Flying Aces News had a plan redrawn by Stew Meyers in February 2024, which was the inspiration for this model. The BMJR kit has been scaled to 17″ span with 49 sq. in. area for FAC embryo endurance. The prototype came in at 28 grams (ready to fly) and the 1^st kit build is 27 grams. Both are tissue covered with nitrate dope. Power is 6 strands of 1/16 rubber.
